WHY ARE YOU SLIGHTLY ASHAMED?
‘We are only slightly ashamed’ is a result of this being a guilty pleasure and the personal opinion that these books are not some great work of literary art (and for you haters out there, they were never meant to be, so stop dissecting them), but we love it anyway because it is a good story (with gorgeous actors).
